Thermal Water

Thermal Water

The beneficial effects of thermal water have been known of since ancient times. In the classical period, thermal baths were used both for hygiene and as a treatment for beauty and well being. In modern cosmetic treatments, thermal waters used at the right concentration have properties at source which are not found in reconstituted saline solutions with identical chemical composition. Such qualities are due, at least in part, to the presence of other trace elements, of protein, glucides and lipids either in isolation or combined, flavonoids, vitamins and their precursors and enzymes characteristic of the mud in which the water matures. In particular the thermal water in this formulation at 3% derives from an ancient basin located in Casamicciola Terme, where the water springs forth naturally due to the pressure of the rock strata which are not influenced by any form of external pressure and therefore it constantly maintains the same chemical and physical properties. These are hyper thermal, volcanic mud based, bicarbonate-alkaline and radioactive waters, the most suitable for cosmetic treatments, in that having a lesser concentration of sodium chloride they are less aggressive while at the same time they derive benefit from the presence of carbonates which have a beneficial and curative effect on the skin.
